We Help Leaders

The firm of Karen J Hardwick specializes in helping leaders, their teams, and entire organization identify pain points and define ways to accept and address those so their greatness can further emerge. We enhance the leadership and well-being of an organization’s greatest treasure, its talent, by encouraging leaders to adopt a growth mindset and embrace the power of connection

We are trusted advisors, fellow journeyers, talented storytellers, catalysts for transformation, and world-class consultants. We share our real selves, leverage world-class processes, and are open about how our own failures help us to pivot, grow, and connect deeply with ourselves and others.

We have the tools, expertise, and approach to help our clients enhance their self-awareness (which is more important than any one strength) and become inspiring leaders that enhance engagement, innovation, productivity, and performance.

Karen's Manifesto of Connection

  • I live from a place of joy and gratitude: chasing slow, digging deep, and rising up.
  • I believe leadership is a sacred calling and happens in all parts of life.
  • I have the best job in the world and it is woven together with the rest of my life as mother, wife, friend, and sister.
  • I have been called to share my story, my journey in all of its wonder and mess, and to help others do the same in a way that transforms them.
  • I walk a spiritual path, move my feet forward, and anchor myself in a loving God who rides shotgun with me.
  • I have more questions than answers.
  • I believe in the power of “we”; there is healing balm in saying and hearing, “me, too.”
  • God is present everywhere and my life’s work is focused on helping others see that, too.
  • Acceptance is a superpower that awakens us, sets us free, and allows others to walk their own path.
  • I am a recovering “higher power”; I surrender. I no longer believe I can fix or rescue others.
  • I believe in the power of the table to create liturgy, communion, and redemption: sharing food and telling our stories is soul-nourishing.
  • I know life is messy; life and people are living contradictions, myself included.
  • Waking up is a lifelong process that restores us to sanity, one day at a time.
